I'm now a little more than halfway through the first semester of college and while I'm enjoying my social life and most of my classes, I've also been battling with stress after struggling to balance my workload. I am never going to drop my major (illustration); it's what I love, it's really the only thing I'm good at, and I want to make a career out of it. But there's one particular design class that I've been taking this semester-design studio skills-and I gotta say, it's a real pain in the ass. It's all technical drawing, and you have to use a lot of tools (utility blades, t-squares, french curves, precision rulers, copic pens, etc., etc.,

Well, I survived my first week of college! It wasn't too bad. I've met so many wonderful people and fellow artists and I like almost all of my instructors (I'm absolutely terrified of my design studio skills instructor though, and that particular subject of art isn't one of my strong suits, so this is the one class that will be the most stressful for me OTL). Like I said before, as I continue taking my visual communication classes, I will be sharing my artwork on here. I don't know how soon that will be exactly, but hopefully before the first semester ends! I've been sketching a lot of material when I'm not studying or working on projects.

Greetings! This isn't my first time on deviantART.com. I previously had an account on here that I made around five years ago, but I wasn't uploading anything because I was still developing a style, and just didn't have the self-confidence to do so. I'm still working on a style, while also trying to improve my lack of self-confidence. I'm starting college in the fall and will be majoring in illustration. Hopefully once classes start, I'll be sharing my artwork on here.
